400 undergraduate History students at the University of Nottingham, learnt about history and historical approaches in their first lecture of their academic year titled, ‘What is History?’ hosted by historians, Professor Sarah Badcock and Digging Deep project coordinator, Norma Gregory. Students had opportunities to hear about work achieved on the Digging Deep HLF project as well as understanding current outlook and perspectives on collating and preserving heritage from diverse communities.
