Come and step through time and experience personal narratives from the former members of the coal community, told through archived photographs, coal artistry and original mining objects on display in the Central Gallery at the New Art Exchange Nottingham. The exhibition will also feature a new commission of portraits of former miners of African Caribbean descent taken by acclaimed and award winning, Nottingham-based photographer, David Severn.
